I have to build a 3D model of the Mirador de Colóm (a.k.a. the Columbus Monument) in Barcelona, Spain. I need some ideas on how to make somewhat realistic-looking miniature statues. They need to be somewhere around 3 inches tall.

I'm also willing to buy some that look similar to the ones on the monument. If anyone knows anywhere that I could find small statues, that would help too!

Pictures of the monument with statues:

The coin looks genuine, with the copper middle, but sounds different when it is dropped, compared to a normal quarter.

Let me explain...i'm 17 and i'm soon going to be in a school play. so i don't have a whole heck of a lot of free time, but i definitely need a new hobby to keep my mind off things when i do have those rare few minutes of alone time. i want something fresh and creative...hopefully unusual. i've tried just about every craft imaginable and i never seem to be able to really get into it. i like music and i like writing and crafts that result in products i can actually use.
if you have any recommendations for websites, internet groups or activities, or crafty projects, i would appreciate them.
Thanks!

I'm working on crocheting an Army Surplus Bag and I'm really confused on one part. The instructions are easy, but I don't think my pattern is coming out right. That pattern states:
Ch. 45
1st Row: 1 sc in 2nc ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of ch. Turn. 44 sts.
2nd Row: Ch 2 (counts as hdc). Miss first sc. 1 hdc in each sc to end of row. Turn
3rd Row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each hdc to end of row. Turn. ** Rep last 2 rows for 29 ins.

My problem is that when I finished this part of the bag, it didn't turn out with straight sides. AKA: When I laid it out on the floor to look at it, it was a trapezoid. I followed the directions to the T, but it's not turning out rectangular/with straight edges. Am I doing something wrong? I've double checked and I have all the stitches in each row. Help please!

Hi. I know very very little about coin collecting....

I found an American quarter dollar. Being that I live in Canada, I am unfamiliar with the American centenial coins, which I believe this may be. I would like verification. The banks are closed today, or I would just go there!
This coin has Nevada 1864 across the top.
The center is a sunrise/sunset behind mountains/foothills, and 3 running horses.
The border of the engraved horses seems to be a plant or branch of some sort.
Under the horses feet, is a banner saying " The Silver State "
Then the date 2006.

I assume this is a state centenial coin.? Does each state have a centenial coin, and do the American banks issue them upon request?
Thank you for your time ! :o)

I want to know how to do the trick where you have someone pick a card, do some other things, then have them look at a card that isnt their's. After that you flip the card around and its their card!

I'm making cherry jewelry boxes again. A few years ago I ordered some small pulls (1 1/2 inches) and they really dressed up the project. I've searched extensively online and can't find what I want. Mostly I find cabinet pulls and stuff to large to use for a small drawer. Can anyway point me in the right direction?

can you bake the flour and salt doh they use in school for projects? we are making "mountains and hills" I am rolling it out with a rolling pin to help it dry quicker, but can you put it in the oven to help it dry out? I would LOVE to get this project done this weekend.
