I want to know how to do the trick where you have someone pick a card, do some other things, then have them look at a card that isnt their's. After that you flip the card around and its their card!

As the daughter and magicians assistant of a practicing magician for many years I can assure you it requires many hours of practice, but it can be learned. Magicians use specially prepared cards with talc powder rubbed on them to make them smooth and easy to handle.

Then you simply train yourself to sneak a card into your hand without anyone seeing it, and place another card where they can see it. Hiding a card can be done by holding it under your wrist by the edge of your fingers.

There are many books and videos available to teach magic tricks, but your best way to learn is to go to a store in your area that sells magic tricks and get to know the people who belong to the magic clubs there. They will be glad to teach a serious student.
