You think because you have a child still inside you then you are strange? I think not. That little girl probably thought it was the best thing in the world that her uncle would sit with her and with such interest. No. It's not wrong. It's cool. Cool that you gave a child attention. Cool that you both share something. There are people that are probably way older than you that make a living building Lego things and getting paid for it. Catch my drift? People forget that adults were made for children and children were made for adults. When people understand this then things will be great. You shared with a child and she in turn shared with you. Play on! Why not? I sure as hell would. I am over 40 and have my own house and a small fishing game on my table that we play with all the time. $1.98. Great conversation piece. And that is next to the egg timer that we like sitting and watching. People don't like it? TOUGH! More play with it then not.

No there's nothing wrong with it as long as you still let you niece play with them too and you don't neglect other activities. In fact it's probably good for you niece if you play with them together. We are a playful species as the multimillion pound games industry is testament to. It's no sillier than playing with trains or dolls houses and adults do that. (And it's no less productive than being on yahoo answers.)

You have fun mate.

No it's not wrong. My husband discovered them about 6 years ago and bought them for our children. The children have added to the collection since then and I must say we have hours of fun discovering new shapes etc. BTW I am 33 and my hubbie is 38.

The "children" of today that play with Lego and like toys, may become the engineers and physicists of tomorrow. As long as you don't start taking an interest in playing with her disrobed dolls, I think you should be fine :)
Enjoy
