If I use Chrome Yellow (bought in error) having run out of Cad: Yellow . (I'm not a Pro)

Cadmium yellow replaced chrome yellow because of toxicity. Chrome yellow is based on lead chromate which has been linked with lung cancer. Artistically the colours are (allegedly) the same.

Usually the dye lot is what changes the color. If you are gonna completely cover whatever it is like for a second coat then sure. But if you have to put it right next to something that was already painted, your dye lot may be different. This is why you buy enough pain in the beginning and then take back what you don't need. So that the dye lots are the same. Hope this helps.
