I just got back from vacation in Aruba and want to make my leftover currency (Florin coins) into necklaces for my pals. Is there any way to punch a hole in a coin safely at home? Or do I have to take the coins to some sort of metal worker?

I bought quite a few jigsaw puzzles by mistake at a garage sale (they were in a game box instead of the game). These puzzles are cardboard, the cardboard frames the pieces that go inside. I am trying to find the value. Any suggestions as to how to do that....I tried EBay without a lot of luck....

an example one of the lady who live in the shoe....right hand corner says SIFO CO. Made in the USA 1954, by Mclaughlin Bros,

another in the left hand corner says Copyright 1957 Helene Pessil, Inc.

Do you thind they are worth anything? They are in good condition.

Thanks in advance for any help.

If I tell them that I know how to knit, do you think they'll make fun of me? And I'm also having a party, do you think I should tell them or just hide my stuff so they won't laugh.

I have looked all over the internet for the past couple hours and can not find any information about it. It is in a wooden case with doors that open to the coins inside that are in plastic 'cards' with information about each coin written on each one. It has green marble looking pillars on each side of the doors. Sorry for my ignorance it is the best description I can give. I'm sure its supposed to resemble a government building or something.

I am trying to make some baby quilts but need some help remembering patterns to use.

The first is a rag quilt--any directions in making a very simple 36x30 baby quilt? Size of squares, directions after cutting squares, etc.?

The second idea is for a simple front/back quilt. I will do a pattern on the front side and the solid color on the back. Are there any specific ways to do this?

Third-use squares on the front and solid on the back. Directions?

Help! I am NOT a sewer by any means but would like to try making some quilts. THanks!!!
