Well, without knowing where you are or what the weather is like, it is hard to make too many suggestions. I did think right away of making snowflakes to decorate your windows - I've been doing a lot of that with my kids and all the relatives are playing along and having a good time. To learn how to fold the paper I used a web site: http://www.popularfront.com/snowdays/ Click on Make a Snowflake and then follow along the way they fold the paper.
You could start making valentines. I am doing Fudge again this year, everyone loves it so much: http://www.eaglebrand.com/detail.asp?rid=57
Chocolate Chip Cookies: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/original-nestle-toll-house-chocolate-chip-pan-cookie/detail.aspx
And of course decorations with the kids: http://familyfun.go.com/magazine/
You could paint your nails, redecorate your bedroom (move all the furniture around) or read a book. Chat with your mom, repaint your end tables, or hang out in the Louvre online http://www.louvre.fr/llv/commun/home_flash.jsp?bmLocale=en - I know you didn't want a web link, but this one is a must see if you ever wanted to go to the famous Paris Museum - they have a lot of the art avaiable for viewing on line even.
Peace!

Go for a walk, enjoy the weather, depending on where you are. I would suggest to try crocheting. It's not that hard to teach yourself. You can also go to the library and look for different hobbies and crafts. Another good thing to get into would be scrapbooking. If you have any pictures that you want to cut up, or anything like that, that's always something to relax you after a long day.

i noticed you put this under hobbies and crafts. I am HUGE on crafts when I have time. Here are some ideas:
Wood burning
Make purses out of old pants/cords. Cut the bottom foot off of the pant leg, sew the cut end together, use sticky velcro to close the top, and Use a LONG and WIDE piece of ribbon for the strap, (lace through a hole on both sides of the bag and knot it on the outside.
Make jewelery.
Get the Marth Stewart Living magazine - LOTS of ideas in there!
Make magnets: cut out one inch wide pictures from magazines (circular) and hot glue gun them to the back of those clear glass rocks usually used for fish tanks, the glue gun and round thinck magnet to the back.
Hope you like crafts!
