The coin looks genuine, with the copper middle, but sounds different when it is dropped, compared to a normal quarter.

it could be a forgery or the real thing-- take it to your local coin dealer-- he should know. or you can get it authenticated thru p.c.g.s-- anacks-- p.c.i for a fee. use a magnifying glass and look closely near the rim of coin-- if you see a small circular cut it was a novelty coin-- if its real-- you got a coin worth quite a bit of money-- perhaps in hundreds of dollars

There is no rare 2 tails or 2 heads quarter coins. They are novelty items. Only one coin has been authenticated as being a real mint issue and it is a 2 heads Indian head cent. These items show up for sale everywhere, such as on line auctions, as well as flea markets and even coin magazines.

you may have the ultra rare two tailed quarter. it is a companion piece tothe two headed quarter. Try Littleton coins for evaluation

I would go get it checked out. It is most likely a fake, but if it isnt, its worth some money.

Well it could be real resons:
Real: because what if it is from a different place!!??.. (Space..)
Fake: Never seen one.
