decorate paper. Get cardstock and make bubble paper. Put bubble solution and a tsp of sugar in a small tupperware or bowl. Add a few drops of food coloring. Blow bubbles with a straw and pop the bubbles with the paper. Do at least three different colors. Let the paper dry and make thank you cards or get well cards.
You could bake something and decorate it (like a gingerbread house).

learn to crochet they have tons of beginners books and it is really simple to learn. Plus there are so many things you can make...It's also inexpensive and if you work on something like a blanket it could take you a little while
