I'm trying to make a sweater for a friend's b-day....her measurements are chest/bust 37" and hips 43".....sizes on the pattern are:
chest/bust: M=34-36 L=38-40
hips: M=39-41 L=43-45......
Do I go with the M or the L?? looks like either way, the sizing will be off?

I'd like something that will work up fairly fast (size 8 or so needles) and not be toooooo boring to work on. Any links, suggestions greatly appreciated.

I was given a silver certificate from 1928. It lwas handed to me in a plastic protective cover sleeve, but the bill itself is a little (just a little) worn/wrinkled. Is there anyway to clean these bills to look new and crisp once again? I know it wont be possible to get it looking like a brand new bill, but maybe something close to it?

I was in a shop in northwest Arkansas and saw a long dark chocolate brown velvet pillow about 20 inches long. Written in beading was "don't forget to kiss me goodnight". The front of the tag said Ki or Kl and on the back was Made in Pakistan. Could anyone tell me where I might get one. I went back to the shop and that particular one was gone, but they had more with different sayings. Thanks

I have a couple of stamps that I can't seem to identify. They look exactly like the first two US stamps shown in the Scott Catalogue. A five cent Benjamin Franklin and a ten cent (in roman numeral) George Washington. But, the colors are not the same? The book says that the Franklin is red brown in color and mine is blue. And the Washington in the book is black and mine is a burnt orange in color??? Are these fakes or what?

We bought a new computer recently and I want to be able to get the most use of it. I want to know about so many things, and I want to also belong to conversation groups, as people who are interested in books, pets, sewing, knitting, cooking, baking and so forth. I want to know the best ways to do personal research. Matty

I am looking for Christmas crafts I can plan with them that they will be able to do and enjoy but still be considered "age appropriate" by our adminastrative staff. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks in advance
