I live on the North Shore in Massachusetts.I am looking for somewhere that would have classes on how to make braided rugs.Can anyone out there point me in the right direction? Thanks!

How close is Canterbury NH to Massachussetts? Here's a site offering classes in Shaker rugs, which aren't quite braided rugs, but close. You might try searching the internet for Shaker rugs, instead.

It seems like braided rugs are pretty intuitive -- just braid and sew, and use your imagination. If you are afraid of "goofing up," you could try doing coasters or placemats first. I don't think you need a class, but sometimes it's nice to do it with other people.
