I have a weekend home alone with just my mom and it's totally free so I was wondering what some DIY gifts are I can make for christmas. I'm 14 and so are all my girlfriends. Also I have a mom, dad, and 3 little brothers (7, 9, and 12). Any idea's on appealing gifts to create.

Ok, I have 2 months before Christmas so I need to learn how to make a quilt by hand and I havent had any luck at the library trying to find a book on it so I was wondering if anyone knows any good websites that would teach an extremely new sewer how to hand stitch a quilt? I dont have a sewing machine.

It was a cute little catalogue, and I think they had other little things in it also, like assorted stationary items. I wish I could remember the name of it.... It used to come with a free card inserted in the catalogue.
I would certainly appreciate it, if someone could remember the name of this particular catalogue
thanks!

I am looking for this paper curling device that curls paper. I have a picture of it but that's it. It's made of what looks like steel and you run the paper through it while you turn a handle. I've been trying to find one but I can't find any stores. Does anyone know where I could possibly get one?

I can't sew, but I really want some accurate SCA garb. Does anyone know a good, reasonably price place to get garb, or some simple patterns that a novice could make? I am intererested in Medieval/early renaissance garb for me and my boyfriend.

Crystal Classics (The largest distributor of Waterford Ornaments) has a 2006 Crystal Red Star ornament. I was told by one of the representatives of Crystal Classics that there are only 700 of these ornaments. Crystal Classics got 350 to sell and Macy's Department Store received 350 to sell. Does anyone know if these ornaments will increase in value or know anything else about them? I bought 5 of them in hopes that they will be very popular. They cost $70 each. You can see them by going to www.crystalclassics.com and clicking on their Waterford Ornaments for 2006. Any comments will be appreciated. Thanks!

I have made a playhouse for my daughter and I think that they are good enough to sell. I know that selling goods for children is quite tricky and wondered whether I needed to get a BS number, mark it with CE or something like that. The house is safe enough but as it is for children I do not want to be the target of legal action.

the coin originally looked like those at coin shows for a couple of dollars i bought one. when i got home i noticed a small bit of a golden color. i took 5 days to clean it propelry distilled water , a special grime remover it sat in 3 days. when i was done it turned out to be solid gold i,m sure it is not bronze, it is a beautiful coin from the roman period as depicted in its face, but the greeks did the same. the owl is standing with very wide open eyes, it looks like 2 or 3 leaves near the owls right sholder.it is heavy as a piece of solid gold this thick would be, it seems to have been hand hammered but all seams are conected beautifully.i may have a winner here any info would be appreciated. thanks whiteswan200000 joe
