I was given a long time ago in China as payment for doing some work over there a set of 28 ,24K medals or coins apparently one for each satelite china has launched and im having difficult trying to find a value of these
Ay help appreciated

Well they are worth at least gold value. As for collector value, you need to find the right person to buy them. Unlike coins, medals don't have usually price guides. It is what you can get for them. I bet there are not to many sets around of what you have and they may be quite rare, that is they are really 24K gold. Most are not, they are 22k and under. You can try the following world coin dealers, they maybe able to help or point you in the right direction. Bob Reis reisbiz@earthlink.net, Frank Robinson frank@fsrcoin.com. You need to take the medals to a coin dealer to see if they are real.There are many fakes that come from Asia .they include American rarity coins and medals.
The dealer may have to test the gold content,.
If they are real he will pay the spot price of gold minus 10 to 20 %
