does anyone know how to get smoke smell out of beanie babies without leaving a odor? i don't want any scent on them just something to take the smell out.i bought some that need the smoke odor removed before i put them with my collection.thank you very much.

They all have tags and tag covers so i don't want to mess the tags up. if they didnt have tags i would probably wash them,but since they do washers wont work and dryers will probably mess up the tags.thanks.

I always use Febreze, they have the ordor eliminator kind that doesn't leave a scent.

Place them in a lingerie bag and put them in the dryer on fluff (no heat) or low heat with fabric softener sheets.

Or put them in a Ziploc bag, along with an open container of baking soda to absorb the scent. This will take a few days to a week.

Try spraying a mixed solution of vinegar and water (50-50).
Let them dry well.

Febreeze will probably work. Or just stick them outside (where they can't get wet or dirty) to air out.
