How would you describe the taste of this Mexican ants egg dish? How much do they cost? How do you cook and serve them? Is there anywhere you can buy them in NZ?

If any of you have been to Japanese steakhouse where they cook in front of you, they give you two different types of sauces. One ginger sauce and one "secret sauce." I dont know if thats what its called but that is what they call it at my steakhouse. Its sort of an orange color. I think anchovies might be an ingredient.

And please dont tell me that you think that it might be Thousand island dressing! Thanks

They taste kind of sweet and hot; and they are bright yellow in color, with little duni peppers. Can someone pleeeze help me I am going through total withdrawals!!
