I have heard that mediterennean (especially the greek one) food is healthy,but I am not sure.

I think Greek food is best. I've lost 5 pounds just eating salads the past two weeks. They are a staple in a Med. diet and there is tons of food combinations you could make. Olive oil is better than any other oil. This diet stresses a variety of nuts, fresh veggies, lean meats, little dairy and low carbs.

Asian food is probably second, but not American Chinese/Japanese. You need to eat what they eat in their own country (not the fried stuff in the restaurants). Staples are rice, fish, soups and noodles.

The French diet made me gain weight. Too much dairy and fat. They say moderation is key, but who in the world is only going to eat half a pastry. This diet is not good for families that have a history of obesity or heart disease.

Mexican is the worst. Just take a look at the health problems Hispanic people have (heart disease). My brother & his wife gained lots of weight because they ate mostly Mexican food. The only thing that might be healthy is corn tortillas and salsa.

I hear Alaskan Eskimo's have the best diet, with lots of salmon, fruits and veggies, little carbs and no dairy.

Just be sure not to limit yourself too much to any one thing, because it's not only boring, but you'll be missing out on nutrients your body needs.

I read an article recently which claimed that Greek food is the best, because the Greeks consume seafood, vegetables and wine (not 4getting the allmighty olive oil) in the right proportions. In the end, though, it all comes down to making the right choices, whichever type of food you prefer.

I think that Japanese food is the healthiest.
Mediterranean food is really healthy too. Specially Greek and from the south of Spain. We use olive oil and lots of vegetables and fish.

Every cuisine have healthy foods, you just have to eat right. My choice would be Chinese food, look at its diversity within China.(Not the stuff they produce in the corner stores in the US, the authentic items.)

ALL cuisines have healthy and unhealthy food. its just a matter of picking the right one.

Mexican for example
You can go healthy and have grilled chicken breast on a corn tortilla with cilantro, onion and lime.

Have a chorizo (mexican sausage) taco with all of the toppings (including cheese sour cream).

Greek and Turkish food not Japanese it has to much salt and sugar in it but tradition Turkish Greek loads of veggies fish and olive oil

We are lucky.We can eat different and can afford it too.Every land has it's own style that is according to it's weather.Changing your taste helps a lot.you get a better appetite.In my opinion asian food is tastiest and healthiest if we choose the right type and not overdo the sugar and fat intake.

I think traditional lebanese, japanese or indian food non-commercial.
lebanese use alot of bulgur wheat, whole grains, lean meats and healthy oils
japanese intake of fish and seaweed is incredibly high and theyre portions are small plus they got the whole soybean culture goin on which has been proven to lower menopause effects, cholesterol, cancer risk and osteporosis
indian food is mainly lentils, rotis (non fat whole wheat tortillas), basmati rice, natural yoghurts and curds very

Japanese, they live longer, have less cancer and stuff and it's all due to their diet, especially green tea.

But no matter what cuisine, eating right, proper proportions and making healthier alternatives should do you just as good too.
