I hate when my local burrito joint shorts me salsa. I like a pretty large salsa to chip ratio and get in a crabby mood when I can't have it. I also like my salsa medium. No spicy or mild, if you need that information to answer my question.

I lived in Chicago for 9 years and you can get any kind of food you want and it is all good!! The only thing Philly has as their claim to fame is the damn cheese steak. Ok, it is a good sandwich, but I need variety and more than just a sandwich!! Greek, Mexican, etc.

The US has the concept of diffirent types of food usually they are "Americanized" though. Pizza Italian,Taco Mexican, Sour crout German etc. I am really curious to what the real common dishes of some countries really are. Anyone from Germany,Italy,England,Ireland,Australia,China, Japan,etc. that could share what a common meal would be in your home country?
