Why is it that virtually every indian restaurant/take away I see has their own spelling of the word "poppadom"? I've seen 'poppodam' 'pappodim' 'puppadum' 'pippodam' 'pappadoom' etc etc. Is there an official spelling? Can they just not spell? or are they trying to be clever?

One time this big gator got into my uncle's lawn, so we killed it then cooked it. If you've ever eaten gator, tell me what you thought of it.

I heard about an ice cream shop in Toronto, Ontario called Tropical Treets, where they sell ethnic flavoured ice creams. I went on www.toronto.com to find the address but was not successful. Is there another way I can find the address for this shop?

I've heard that Chinese food has a lot of carbs and that's why it doesn't keep you full for a long period of time. I'm not saying this to create a stereotype, but most Asians I see are skinny. Is it because they eat Chinese food?

It's kind of like a cream puff, without the cream and lots of powdered sugar on top. So yummy & I'd like to make them for my family.
