(*^o^*)I love sushi, it's delicious! I think if you had REAL and GOOD sushi you wouldn't think so. Oh, and (^_-)-☆Sorry, I've never tasted 'sh**' , but I don't think it taste like sushi.♡

It probably only tastes bad because you haven't eaten it fresh enough. Sushi is best freshly made (with sushi quality fish) and eaten in the few seconds afterwards. The seaweed shouldn't be at all rubbery when you eat it. Also make sure that your sushi is cut into bite sized pieces, not in huge rolls like you find in food outlets. The commercially available rolls of sushi can be segmented into about 4-8 pieces, which makes them easier to eat.
I hope this helps you gain an appreciation for it (I never liked it either, until i ate it properly, now I really enjoy it)

How come you know how sh.. tastes like??? u tasted sh.. and compared it with sushi??? lol! Don't make a fool out of yourself!
Natto maki (stinky soy bean roll) is the one that I assume not many people can put it in their mouth, you might pick the wrong one to try!
To me, having sushi in a good sushi restaurant is fun, especially here in Hong Kong we have fresh sushi / sashimi ingredients daily delivered from Japan. I agree with Xian, you have to consume it in a proper sushi restaurant, in the right timing and right way (dip the soy sauce a bit instead of soaking the whole sushi in the soy sauce with wasabi paste mixed).
Sushi is just like cheese, some may like it , some may not.

ME! I've tried eating it with different fillings, and it just never tastes good. I like seafood, so I can't blame hating sushi because its got fish etc in it.

Eeek to all forms of sushi. I just don't get it: ( Don't get me wrong. I like seafood, but then again, I'm really picky about who's cooking what and how. But blah to sushi. And more power to those who can enjoy such fine "delicacy".

Sushi tastes like raw fish -- either you like it or you don't. I happen to like it.

It's not my favorite, I really hate the taste of the nori seaweed they use. The fish itself isn't too bad, but the seaweed tastes like Christmas trees smell.
