I've heard that Chinese food has a lot of carbs and that's why it doesn't keep you full for a long period of time. I'm not saying this to create a stereotype, but most Asians I see are skinny. Is it because they eat Chinese food?

Many Asians are skinny because they eat smaller portions and don't stuff their face like most Americans. It has nothing to do with the food, and actually, restaurant Chinese food is quite high in fat and sodium.

The Chinese diet includes tons of fish, and soy.... That fast food crap isn't what they eat. They go for a healthier versions. All they serve is fried food in those resturants, I've had a few asians friends and they maintain a healthier diet. So unless you want to get some recipes on line, and watch for the fat content, I dont recommend chinese fast food.

Maybe they have portion control and get all the nutrients they NEED. Not just when they feel like eating a whole bag of potato chips. Also, they might be used to eating a little because back then, you barely had enough food to keep your stomach full.

The majority of the recipes you are served at Chinese Carry Outs are geared towards Americans taste which happen to be fatter. General Tso Chicken is one of the worst things you can pick.

Chinese food in America is hardly Cinese food. it's meat and sugar water. real chinese food has lots of veggies and soup and they dont eat like whole plates of deep fried orange chicken like we do

maybe they eat lots of veggies and grains and proteins and not so much processed food. but anyone can do it.

chinese food from a restaurant will not keep you skinny as it is made with a lot of fat and oil.
