going to a company luncheon and I'm trying to take something like egg rolls - but there is no oven, so I need to cook them at home and then keep them warm. Any suggestions?

I just don't get it. maybe because I am a guy, but why are we going to 3 different houses for a meal. It seems weird to be to be sitting there eating salad and the suddenly saying "well, everybody load up and head for Joan's house."

I asked my wife and she just got pissed at me. anyone?

And is fairly inexpensive? It's for a christmas dinner for my family. We don't usually eat expensive meat like this, so I'm not sure what to fix with it. Honestly I've blown a good chunk of my Christmas Dinner Budget on the Roast itself.

Come one, come all!
Seriously, come suggest me great ideas for a classy christmas party that my friend and I want to throw. We are normally pretty trashy to say in the least, and are on a tight budget, so if anyones got some great cheap ideas, toss them at me!
The party will be before christmas, (maybe after), and we want people to dress up in clothes like dresses and stuff, like red lipstick, really old fashioned kind of thing. anyone got any good music/clothing ideas/decorations/beverages to serve/snacks to serve/ANYTHING, you name it! please help out :] i will be picking best answer!

Some guest don't each beef or pork, one is diabetic. I thought perhaps assortment of pizza, with veggies. Or chicken wings, veggies, cheese ball and crackers.
Would serving different pizza slices be tacky. They will probably be at my home for about 1.5 hours, then off to a club for a Xmas affair in which they can order food and drinks.

I am hosting a Christmas party with a friend of mine when I go home for christmas. We are in our early 20's and it will not be a sit down dinner or anything. Should I ask people to drink alcohol? I don't think we can afford to buy alcohol for everyone. Should I maybe make a special drink and put it in a punch bowl and if people want anything beyond that tell them to bring their own?? Thanks for your ideas.
xoxo

Is there any other good ideas except for candy?
They don't have to be for goodie bags. Just stuff I can give out to my friends when they come to my birthday party in 2 weeks.
i was thinking caramel apples but I just want to find out if there's anything else.
