going to a company luncheon and I'm trying to take something like egg rolls - but there is no oven, so I need to cook them at home and then keep them warm. Any suggestions?

This is a very old fashioned idea, but works wonderful, wrap egg rolls in some foil/paper towelling first than wrap in quiet a few newspapers and the more the better! Then put in a box /container to carry, works terrific for roasts too! this lesson was taught to me by my lovely mother-in-law, who by the way is a fabulous cook with terrific old fashioned methods that always work....good luck

I think that may work. Another option is to buy sternos and aluminum pans that have an aluminum tray under them. What you dois light the sterno and the aluminum pan has a little water in it. Then, on top of that, you put the aluminum pan with the eggrolls and it stays hot. Good luck!

Sure eggrolls don't absorb moisture like onion rings. aboue keeping hot, you should try an aminunaim claff tray

it works great if you put a few paper towels across the top under the lid, otherwise steam will build up and that equals soggy :)
