I just don't get it. maybe because I am a guy, but why are we going to 3 different houses for a meal. It seems weird to be to be sitting there eating salad and the suddenly saying "well, everybody load up and head for Joan's house."

I asked my wife and she just got pissed at me. anyone?

It's a way for us girls to show off our houses to other girls. Just go along with it. (I'm with you. I hate to move from house to house....especially when it's cold outside)

Point one 1) to socialize?
Point two 2) to keep the meal from being too overwhelming for one person
Point three 3) to keep you griping?

It's mostly socializing, having fun, seeing other peoples' houses and how they're decorated, different peoples' cooking, and it keeps you moving, laughing, it's fun and something different. Progressive cookie walks are fun too. Have fun!
