I'm having an "after party" at my house after the employee Christmas party my restaurant is having (I'm the manager, not the owner). Any ideas for a drink or drinks (maybe a punch or a few select cocktails) that I can whip up (that doesn't cost too much money) and won't leave people passed out in my bathroom? Also would love snack ideas. Thanks!

My boyfriend volunteered our house to have his family over, and this is the first time I've ever had to make a Christmas dinner. (Remind me to thank him later....) I have no idea what I am doing! How much should I make? Is there anything that I could possible prepare a day or so a head of time? What should I expect? Any good holiday recipes? Or any good websites to get recipes from? I'm not the greatest cook, is there anything simple, yet crowd pleasing? PLEASE HELP!

I'm starting to plan my parents 50th wedding anniversary party and I got some ideas off the internet. One that I read was to have a potluck and I just wondered if that would be tacky to ask guests to bring a dish for a potluck. Just looking for people's opinions. thanks!

It'll be like 60 ppl, unless I shrink my guest list. (Which I'll probably have to do.) I was thinking just food, christmas music, and chatting. Does this sound boring? I can't think of anything else to do. Maybe a gag gift thing? How do I go about that? Thanks!
