It's for my sister's 16th birthday.
It's a SURPRISE party.

NOT a "hollywood" theme or anything like that.

Thanks.

I'm having my sons first birthday party outside at a big park. There will be 50-60 friends and family, and I want to serve some food, but not have a big cookout/dinner. So far I'm doing:

* Cake and Icecream
* Chips
* Chex Mix, Cheese Nips or M&M's
* Finger Sandwiches
* Veggie Trays w/ dip
* Diced Fruit
* BBQ Meatballs

But that isn't enough food. I need more ideas! I won't have a lot of time to prepare everything, so I need easy (preferably inexpensive) ideas.
Thanks!

I’m going to invite 12-15 girls to my 14th birthday party. Everyone will come to my house. Then, we will play games; interact, etc. for about an hour. We will pack up and head to the beach. When we get there, we will hang out, play sand games, go on a scavenger hunt, etc. When it gets darker, we will start a bonfire and have dinner. We will make smores, tell stories, etc. Around 11:00 at night we will head back to my house. We will Jacuzzi, do facials, paint nails, etc. Then we will go teepeeing,. When we get back we will watch movies and chat till we fall asleep.

Should I give my party a theme? I was thinking either NO theme or a tropical theme

I am having a Christmas party in Puerto Rico with friends and family. The theme is "Santa's Workshop". Has anyone done this theme and if so, what did you do? The party will be celebrating my son's first bday combined with the traditional Christmas celebration on the 25th.

Okay, there are really two types of party's that my friends and I are trying to throw.
1) One of my really good friends is moving away, and so we want to throw some sort of going away party
2) Just the end of the summer, schools here party.

Any ideas for those two? Or maybe combine them to throw one HUGE party? Our budget isn't that big. Last time we spent about $150. So, that is what we are aiming for this time. Something fun! And something that you don't see everyday. Details are more then welcome.

Could I get an event catered for £5.00 per head? I have no idea and I don't want to be taken advantage of by some crooked catering company. Any advice is welcome.

It is for a group of animal rights activists. We are participating in a PETA function next weekend and they have put me of getting a caterer. There will be about 15 of us (I hope).

Ok so I'm having a party and the theme is to dress like a celebrity. We invited a lot of people in our grade. I was soo excited about it until we actually sent out the invitations. When the rsvps came in (or didn't come in) I got super nervous. Not many girls rsvp and only 2 boys did. If I could I would cancel the party right now. I'm getting really scared. What do I do! Help!

We are getting married on Sept. 9. This is the menu that I have put together for the celebration dinner. I had to make a couple of changes because my fiance's guests have decided to contribute an entree of lamb, which I guess will be barbecued, as well as a rice dish and maybe something else. Is there anything that you think should be changed or added to this menu... We will be having 40-50 guests... Waiting for your feedback... Thanks!
