Ok so I'm having a party and the theme is to dress like a celebrity. We invited a lot of people in our grade. I was soo excited about it until we actually sent out the invitations. When the rsvps came in (or didn't come in) I got super nervous. Not many girls rsvp and only 2 boys did. If I could I would cancel the party right now. I'm getting really scared. What do I do! Help!

Sometimes the smaller the party the better the fun.. And always remember not everyone will RSVP, they just show up.

Have fun.

Some people never rsvp,so call and ask them so you have a head count.Just say that you need a head count, yes or no.Then go from that.Don't cancel the party for the ones that plan to come..

Do you have the contact numbers for the people you invited? If you have their number, I would call them and ask if they are coming or not. Have a friend help you call them. This is always a problem with RSVP because people forget to send them in. Don't send a reminder unless its online because think about if you send it through mail you have to pay for postage, wait for it to be delivered to them and wait until it gets back to you.

Not many people have the courtesy to send an RSVP (French for "let me know if you're gonna show up to my party and trash my home, you idiots") Kidding, of course........I find that I've had a lot of luck with E-vite (Google it) and sending electronic invites........I've gotten a lot more RSVP's with that service (which is free).........I hope your party is a blast, and too bad for those who don't show up........You have a good time with those who do........Enjoy!!!

I'd just send out another little post card like memo stating something like this: Because the kids that I really was hoping for to come to my party have not RSVPed, I'm simply calling off this party. Sorry for the inconvenience.

One drawback, you may have to wait 8 or 10 years before you have another party.
