Thanks for all the advice and info - Couple of people said get it locally UK - I live in France - OK - I know - why am I asking for info when you live in the country that makes it !!. But there so very many types of Champagne
- some cheap some expensive and some I have not heard of..

But thanks - will be shopping Monday.

In my experience you generally get what you pay for but you should drink what you like. Try different ones and buy the one you prefer regardless of the cost, always assuming you can afford to!

My personal experience is to purchase the most expensive Champagne your budget will tolerate. The lesser "sparkling" wines will give your guests headaches, an experience you do not want to impart.

well if you have the money and the price isnt a problem i would suggest mumm champagne or don perrion
