I tell people I'm a vegetarian, and they immediatly assume I'm judging them. I understand, because when I ate meat, I'd met some condemnation from some of the more "hardcore" vegetarians I'd associated with.

What are some good ways of telling people you are a vegetarian, without implying that you judge them for not being one? I know it's not fair that people assume it, but we must be real about the fact that there is this perception out there that we somehow think of ourselves as morally superior; which is unfortunately true in some (rare I hope) cases, but I certainly do not.

What are some good ways of talking to non-veg's without bringing stereotypes into it?

I set out angel hair noodles, regular spaghetti, fettucini noodles, red sauce, alfredo sauce, mushrooms, two different kinds of meatballs, red pepper flakes, and diced celery, as well as some spices, and dont have time to hit the supermarket before they get here, because it's more than 45 minutes away! I think I may have a slight allergic reaction to Saccharine and Aspartame makes me feel weak and want to use the restroom, almost as a laxative affect.

Its for a Corporate Holiday party and the idea of spending $40 for fresh flowers for 9 tables did not go over well with the party committee.So any less expensive ideas would be great to share with them.

It's especiallhy hard to remove rice which has hardened . What's the best technique to remove them? I tried steel wool but it scratches the surface of the container. Is there a specific technique I don't know about that you can do to make sure that it doesn't stick to the sides and bottom in the first place?

please some explain frying whole turkey in a turkey fryer. chefs are turning in their graves, turkey wings or legs i can understand but a whole turkey! its not esven healthy or can imagen tasty just a horrible fatty bird.
