Food & Drink - 4 November 2007

ICK! It was good sourcream, not expired!! Supposed to be making this for a school meeting tomorrow so I had to 5x the recipe, but followed it to the tee. Cooking it up in a nesco, my kitchen stinks like 'sour'. Now what?? Can I salvage it? It's like 10 lbs of cooked hamburger! (Also included crm mush soup, water chestnuts, onion, celery, mushrooms). I added a little milk, that didn't help. Also added two more cans of soup thinking I could die down the taste, not working tho.

I baked an apple pie and I have extra filling (sliced apples coated in cinniman, ginger, ect.)
I also have bananas and walnuts and stuff, I have just about every ingredient you could possibly think of, but I don't know what to do with those apples! Can I store them? How?

Hi, we have this thing every year, where everybody in the family has to cook something for thanksgiving. Including me. I am 11 and looking for a really good, but easy recipie to contribute. i have filtered water to get rid of most of the contaminants and then i boil the water to kill whatever organism is in there then use the water for making rooibos tea which is pretty much the only thing i drink so i drink alot of it like a liter or 2 each day is that healthy? or should i drink more water?
