ICK! It was good sourcream, not expired!! Supposed to be making this for a school meeting tomorrow so I had to 5x the recipe, but followed it to the tee. Cooking it up in a nesco, my kitchen stinks like 'sour'. Now what?? Can I salvage it? It's like 10 lbs of cooked hamburger! (Also included crm mush soup, water chestnuts, onion, celery, mushrooms). I added a little milk, that didn't help. Also added two more cans of soup thinking I could die down the taste, not working tho.

add a huge can of diced tomatoes, some worcestershire, more seasoning, maybe a little red wine or balsamic vinegar.

About the only thing you can do is strain and rinse it. Then add some more soup and fresh herbs to really knock out the whole sour cream thing. Also - try adding some cheese.
