Why does it seem like most people hate coconut? Of all the fruits, coconut is the most popular that people love to hate.

If you hate coconut, please tell me why. I'm real curious.

I have two bottles of vodka and some flavored rum, but I haven't the slightest idea on how to make drinks. If anyone knows any good drink ideas with vodka and flavored rum, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

ps: the vodka is Absolut and Smirnoff. They were given to me as a gift.

I have a wonderful patch of wild blackberries that I didn't get to take advantage of this year. I know that there are a lot of berries that are dry and just barely hanging onto the vine. Since the were naturally dried while still on the vine, will they be okay to eat? Will the drying process while still on the vine have sent all the flavor back into the vine? Thanks!

2 tablespoons FRESH squeezed lemon or lime juice (approx. 1/2 lemon)
2 tablespoons genuine organic maple syrup, Grade B (the darker the better)*
1/10 teaspoon (a small pinch!) cayenne pepper, gradually increase (the more BTUs the better)
300 - 500 ccm (10-14 oz) pure water

like, instead of ccm cups.

this person i know whose also a vegetarian gets really mad at me whenever i eat yogurt, marshmellows, things like that which contain gelatin because apparently its made from worn down animal parts.

i keep trying to tell him there are different levels of vegetarianism and i dont eat any meat or poultry, but considering fruity yogurt isn't a slice of dead animal i thought it was okay.

what is your opinion..should i cut out all gelatin foods?
(even kosher gelatin)

and tons tons tonssss of foods contain gelatin, i dont know how you can't NOT eat it.

my mom is always trying to make different types of pasta with alfredo sauce, but its always really clumpy. when she first started making it, it wasnt so bad, but it just went downhill from there. i just ate and it and it was terrible, doesnt even taste like alfredo. i believe she uses milk, margarine, and maybe half and half. i am looking for a fairly simple alfredo recipe that i can make myself (i am 15, fairly decent cook, i guess) so i dont have to tell my mom hers isnt good. HELP!

Well its not really a party, more like a get-together. An ex cop is hosting it, his brother was on drugs for 5 years and he wants to give back to the comminity. Its just for H.S students. Theres going to be soda and a DJ, and we're going to watch movies on drugs. Should I go does it seem interesting. Also I dont know how to dance or act at anything like this. What do you think?
