I am seriously considering not eating meat... though I still will continue to have eggs, milk, and cheese. Any advice on this? What do I need to eat or vitamins do I need to take to ensure I get enough protein... and how much do I need? Thanks!

Im gonna be cooking on a propane grill. What do i need to do as far as prepping the steak? I like my steaks med- medium well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This will be my first time cooking a steak on the grill. Also is there any difference in cooking on a coal grill?

If you were to utilize ONLY animal products (Meat, Organs, Milk, Honey, Leather, Wool etc.) or Vegetable products (spinach, broccoli, fibers etc.) for the rest of your life which do you feel best suites you? Thank you for sharing your ideas.

Cheers

Crack is like, a whole lot worse than alcohol but I don't have to show I.D. when I buy it. It's a weird world isn't it.

I've been a vegetarian for just over two months and it's going pretty good. Do any of you know any quick, easy, and delicious recipes that I could make for myself?

I don't really know how to cook very intricate recipes. My dad usually does the cooking but I feel bad making him cook "special" food just for me...I'd rather make my own.

ps: I've vegetarian not vegan...and I don't really like tofu very much

FIRST: I was at my granny's house and I ate a some Doritoes (not sure how to spell it their potato chips, those are the only onces I eat) and I was reading the ingredients and i didnt' see anyting marked for vegetarians or vegans but I also didn't see any animal products. It contained milk, soy and nut oil. So MY QUESTION IS: WHAT JUNK FOODS ARE SUITABLE FOR VEGETARIANS AND VEGANS LIKE POTATO CHIPS AND COOKIES cuz I also ate some Peanut Butter cookie. I know their not good for you, but I was just woundering, cuz I didn't want ot cheat myself. I've been a vegetarian for a year now and I stoped eating fried foods and junk foods, just had a vonurable moment lol

SECOND PART: this concerns animal testing. I want to know HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO TEST MAKE UP AND OTHER CREAMS FOR OUR SKIN WITHOUT USING ANIMALS ? I personally think its wrong and I plan to join an organisation that tries to stop animal testing but I want to know a little more about it before I join.

THX. anyother info

I keep hearing if you become vegitarian you save a 100 lives a year.

Where does that figure come from????

And wouldn't that depend on what kind of meat eater you were before you went veggie?

If you eat only beef and pork at most you are saving a couple a year. Cows and pigs give a lot of meat, even the most hardy beef eater would take about a year to eat one cow.

On the other hand if you primarily ate sea food it could be in the thousands. Can of sardines at lunch is a dozen right there, shrimp loves delight for dinner another 20 or so. I had a friend who ate 46 steamers at a clam bake in three hours.

My family recently switched to a mostly vegetarian diet. Although we do not eat beef, pork, eggs or any dairy products we still occassionally eat fish and poultry. We really miss one of our favorite foods which is Sunday style, slow cooked pot roast with roasted carrots and potatoes. What are some alternatives?
