Ceramic dissipates heat at a faster rate. Cast Iron acts as a heat sink.
Conductor vs. Insulator only deal with electrical currents. If ceramic was an insulator for heat, the tea wouldn't get hot in the first place.

No. Any container made out of metal transmits heat at a much faster rate, so it's contents would both heat up and cool off faster (that's why heating radiators in people's houses are often made of cast iron). The ceramic in a tea pot is thin enough that it doesn't make a big difference either way, but it's an insulator nevertheless so it does take slightly longer to heat up and cool off.

I would go with the glass one, because glass does not mess with the flavor. A cast iron teapot would.

Either one would do better in a tea cozy. My favorite kind is the kind that lets the handle stick out so it doesn't get too hot.

NO! Because iron is a conductor & ceramic is an insulator.
