Well, I have finally decided to try fish. I bought some cod but I dont know how to cook it! I need it to be as less fat as possible! I am on weight watchers so I count points.

I bought 2 cod fillets. It is in a bag, did I buy the right stuff? Please also include cook times and oven pre-heat.

I have a Zojirushi Rice cooker (6 cups) and was wondering if I could cook Rice and Black Beans packaged goya rice in it? I heard a rumor only white/brown rice can be made in it. Please help!! Thanks.

to all vegetarians/vegans...do you also find it annoying when people continuously say to you "awww. ur a vegetarian? how do you ever get enough protein?"

i find it unbelievably ignorant for people to say that. and when they ask that question...what kind of answer are they expecting? like "ohh. i don't know" or "i'm malnourished" or WHAT?

when some people ask that...i think they are just trying to sound smarter than they are. but whatever.

what do you think?

I just LOVE twice-baked potatoes sprinkled with paprika and cayenne flake...
And Delta Blues, a.k.a. the "Whoa! That potato is purple!" potato, is my favorite variety.

Next week is my turn to cook for the women's shelter. They like hearty, old-fashioned meals (no pasta). I know a million ways to cook chicken, but then so does everyone else and I think they get way too much of it. Any ideas for something a little different, but not too weird, would be great. Every Saturday me and the boyfriend like to go to "the fresh market"- a local gourmet store- and make one really nice yummy meal (during the week were frozen dinner kinda people lol) But im running low on ideas!

im really TRYING to cut way back on Dairy, ive never been a huge milk drinker anyway, unless its on cereal (cheerios, special K with berries, ect) but are there any alternatives for something to pour over cereal? I read one or two people use Apple Juice on their cereal! I mean I even want to cut back on soy milk. im trying to idenify a food allergy so im cutting out some things for a while..any suggestions?? and NOT plain water! ughhhhh..
