Yes you bought it right.
Here is how a low fat one:
• 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger root, grated
• 1/2 teaspoon white wine vinegar
• 2 cod fillets
Combine all ingredients except cod in a large 1 gallon ziplock bag and mix well. Add cod and seal bag. Turn to coat thoroughly. Let marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Place cod fillets in a foil lined baking pan. Discard bag and marinade.
Bake fish at 425 degrees F. for 10 to 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with the tines of a fork.

You can save calories by NOT frying it, but instead going for a faux-fried approach by baking it in the oven.
1) Take cod fillets and dip in beaten egg whites and roll in seasoned bread crumbs.
2) Squeeze some lemon juice on them and add a very light drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Salt and pepper.
3) Bake in the oven - 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes (or until golden/tender).
You've saved yourself frying calories, it's healthier and tastes just as good - but you've saved yourself the extra calories.
Eat this with a salad and/or side veggies and you are set with a healthy meal.
Enjoy!

Ooooh-please don't cook that for 35 minutes-it will be a disgusting dried out mess that might put you off fish for life!
A very simple way to enjoy fish is to dot with butter-real butter, not margarine- and broil for 5-7 minutes per side, just until flesh becomes opaque. You can add any seasoning you like-I like garlic, basil, and fennel. Then serve with fresh lemon wedges for squeezing over.
