I told my mom I'd make deviled eggs for the BBQ on Saturday. Any ideas on how to spruce 'em up a bit so its not just a typical, run-of-the-mill deviled egg? Thanks!

Now that I have some good aloo gobi recipes. I also need a recipe for the little green chilies to serve with it. :)
This is what I know......
they are the small green chilies that are very typical to indian cooking. She put them in either vinegar of lemon juice. Then in the fridge. They taste soooo good with the aloo gobi!! I have tried to make them but mine just don't taste the same. Damn!! Why wasnt I born in India!!! hehe

Which do you prefer? Restaurant or a home cooked meal? What's your fav home cooked food, and favorite at a restaurant? For myself, nothing beats a good home cooked meal. Steaks, or hamburgers are better at home...you can prepare them as you like, for burgers you can make 'em as big & greasy as you want !! ... Restaurants are good for their atmosphere, and when you wanna relax and not worry about cooking. I like authentic Italian or German food when eating out.

I have just learned how good it is to cook with bacon grease! I'm going to start a can of it to keep for cooking. Do you refrigerate it or just put it in the cabinet?

Ok, my own personal poll.
How many of you frost your brownies. I mean with chocolate frosting.
I know you can have them with ice cream or whipped cream.
But I would like to know who likes them just plain.(no frosting)
and how many put chocolate frosting on them.I'm not talking what you can put in them, nuts, marshmellows etd., just the frosting.

Now that im a mature adult, i like to appreciate the finer things in life. In the past, i got smashed on a saturday nite and stayed in bed all day sunday afternoon with my gf giving me a bj while i relaxed watching the eastenders omnibus, and would just nip to the kitchen to make a cheese sandwich with branson pickle / hp sauce.

Now, i like things to be a bit more sophisticated and i prepare more for that hangover experience. Trust me people, there is NOTHING in the world quite like a good hangover experience...but you got to do it right. I am looking for suggestions from you on improving my approach to this. !

I drink and get smashed now, just to experience the hangover day afterwards. I love it!! The perfect hgr day is a Saturday (so u got sunday to recover as well). So the window for getting smashed on a weekend is only Friday nite....Make sure you hit the bottle real hard. Ideally you need to puke on the Friday nite, this will make u more dehydrated for sat!! continued in pt 2.

That's what my current girlfriend says. Every time we open a bottle of wine, she says that we have to drink the whole thing otherwise it will go bad in a few hours. I apologize if this isn't written in the best language but I'm a little hung over.

What should I eat? Either...

A greek veggie wrap

OR

Macaroni and cheese with whole wheat noodles and sauteed onion, mushrooms and brocolli.

I can't decide! They both sound wonderful right now.

I have tried to replicate this recipe but cannot. Sadly she did not speak much english....so we had a barrier when it came time to write it down. It was a drier sort...no gravy. She did not use tomatoes either. Does anyone out there have a yummy recipe I can try??? Thanks!!!
