Is eating raw store bought cookie dough bad for you?

i ate countless amounts of raw cookie dough when i was pregnant with my daughter I'm still here to type about it lol its probably a little fattening though

To the person who claims it has raw eggs they are pasteurized before being made into the cookie dough, and the dough in ice cream doe not have egg in it, if raw eggs were in store bought cookie dough of any kind they would have a 7 day shelf life and then be garbage, so eat all you want, but save some for the cookies.

I'm not sure but if it is then I would have seen more illnesses in my family growing up. Eating cookie dough is a favorite past time of my family members. I personally can't stand the stuff. And they put cookie dough in ice crem and in the Sonic blast at the Sonic drive-ins ....wouldn't that be the same thing.

I'm sure consuming too much of it in one sitting probably wouldn't be such a great idea.

If it has raw eggs it can have salmonella, which is poisonous, nut it is only in rare cases and if you only have small amounts and not that much then you should be able to eat it
