So, it's my parents 25th anniversary and I'm looking for sparkling wine for a toast. I did a little research and found that the following are favorites:
Tattinger Brut Reserve
Korbel Brut
Ballatore
Bollinger
Since, only about 40 people will attend the event, I have no strict budget for champagne, I just want it to be something special that everyone will like. Which of these is best? Are there any others?
By the way, we'll be serving turkey for dinner.

i bought a jar of what seems to be black honey except afetr i put the lid back on the jar the next day the honey partly granulated theres big culmps of the sugar in itand i dont even know what happened is there anyway to reverse the effects or what happened to the honey is normal

Reading our local evening news paper, article in about making ice cream in the early 1900's, was it ice cream like we know to day and how did the keep it frozen with no fridges/freezers about?

I'd like to hear from anyone who has gone a long time (year+) both eating breakfast everyday and not eating breakfast everyday. From 05-06, i had a nutrigrain snack bar everyday for breakfast. Before and after that, I never ate breakfast, usually just some coffee and a cig.

The only difference I notice is that when I eat breakfast, I'm hungrier earlier in the day, and eat more for lunch. My energy levels are pretty much identical, and I seem to work better without it.

Anybody else?

I have "Hillshire Farm Litl' Smokies" smoked sausages in my fridge. They've never been open.

The use-or-freeze-by date is February 21, 2007.

It's been a month basically.

Isn't it still good to eat? I forgot about them and I am eager to eat them tomorrow morning.

I mean, it hasn't even been open. Is that a good enough reason to still be able to eat it?

About a month ago I had a bad experience involving way too much throwing up and passing out drinking vodka, and now I find it hard to stomach the taste of hard alcohol. I'm just wondering what you guys think is the best beverage to mix with hard liquor to cover up the taste as much as possible, until I can get used to the flavor again. If you can think of any hard alcohol which doesn't have as strong a flavor which I could drink easily then that would work too, thanks.

Something that isn't too expensive or hard to make. There are going to be about 10-15 13 year olds. xD No pop-tarts or things like that, I mean things to cook. Something I could prepare the night before would work good as well.

My husband wants a Fruit and Nut Easter Egg. Every recipe I've found, uses 2 boxes of powdered sugar Is there is any sugar free subsitute, for powdered sugar? I know Splenda can be used in place of regular sugar, but what can you replace powdered sugar with? I can't even find a sugar free Fruit and Nut Egg to buy, just fudge, peanut butter, coconut. and vanilla. Can anyone help me?
