Is there any noticeable difference in price or quality between the three major southern California supermarkets (Ralphs, Albertsons, and Vons)? I'm wondering if one is consistently cheaper or has better quality.

They are all basically the same. You'd actually have to goto all three to get the best deals on everything. Some stores price meats way higher. While others will get you on the condiments. And others will charge more for the vegtables. I always end up going to at least two and after a while you'll see what is cheaper where

I believe that Ralph's and Von's have consistently better quality than Albertsons. As for price this is a very competitive market for grocery stores, and the prices are about the same across the three chains,.

Vons have the quality and a little bit higher in price..but this is the store where you can find the fresh fruits and vegetables..
Ralps have the quality and cheaper price than Vons...
Albertson have quality and price and a lot of selection..
