Heating the honey may help with the sugar, but its probably stuck that way. What happened is normal though. Honey is whats known as a supersaturated solution. It literally has more sugar dissolved in it than physically possible. This was possible through enzymes the bees produce, but once it crystallizes, you can't really turn it back. It's still safe to eat though!

Put the jar of honey in a pan with a bit of water in the bottom, and heat it slowly; you should be able to get the sugar back into solution for the most part, although you may still have a few sugary bits. You can also do this with the microwave, but be VERY careful; sugar is one of the substances that heats up the fastest in the presence of microwave energy, so take it slowly - no more than 10 or 15 seconds at a time.

is the honey in a plastic container?
You can put that container with lid on in a pan of warm water almost hot! In a few moments much of the crystallized honey will return to a near state
to what it was before crystallized.. but not completely to it! Did You buy Crosby's Black Strap Honey? Crosby makes 3 products that I know of Honey, Molasses and cake mixes!

That's life. Oh well. If you want the lovely liquid texture back fill a large bowl with very warm water and set the jar in the water. The honey will ooze back to it's former self.

Just open the lid slightly and set it in a pan of water , Let the water get to about half way up,then heat it on low for a short time,It will then return to smooth honey.

Honey just does that. You can warm it up by leaving the tightly sealed jar in a pot or sink full of hot (bot not boiling) water (and not on the stove!!!). The crystals/clumps will dissolve and you will have normal loking honey. Eventually it will crystalize again, however.

Yes, honey can get sugary/clumpy. I think if you warm it a little it'll get runny again. But there's really no need to-- it's natural.
