We had a London broil once that I'm sure used ginger, and red wine vinegar and soy, but I can't find the exact recipe anywhere. If you have this recipe, please share it. Thanks.

I tried a piece of a papad today with my curry rice and now I'm worrying if it was too many calories. They were not fried, though; they were roasted over an open flame from the package. The package does not have nutrition facts, though.

I recently got into couponing and as you may imagine the Sunday paper is a valuable source of them for me. I'm wondering what retailers do with leftover newspapers come Monday (or later in the week). Do they throw them out? Give them away? Do you think they would give old papers to somebody who asked nicely for them?

I love the ever so simple recipe; 3 cups self rising flour, 3 tbls sugar and a can of room temp. beer. BUT, regardless of the small content of one beer being dispersed throughout the bread, DOES the alcohol bake out? I ask because I want to take it to work, but I work in an elementary school!

I find yellow onions are too strong and the scent of red onions also too pungent, I tend to cook with green onions for a taste of onion that's not so overwhelming.

If you've had your cholesterol levels measured recently, post them and say whether or not you're eating a "cholesterol-free diet", if you catch my drift.

I'm curious to see what effect a cholesterol-free diet has on cholesterol levels.

My HDL's 51, my LDL's 36, my triglycerides are 106, and I am on a cholesterol-free diet.

Obviously, I'd need crab and mayonnaise, but how much of each? And how would I combine them so they look like the stuff at restaurants? Will I need a food processor?

Thanks

Mine is a .293 when I crashed my car and got a DUI. I guess that is pretty high but I felt fine. I wonder if anybody has a similar experience. Please don't bother preaching about the dangers of drunkeness/drunk driving, your words will fall on deaf ears (or blind eyes, even)

I tried using the regular ones but you have to press it too thin for them to work and RKMT just aren't that good unless they are at least an inch or more thick.
Also, is there a good icing recipe for them. I know they aren't the best with icing but they look so pretty this way for gift giving purposes.
