I tried using the regular ones but you have to press it too thin for them to work and RKMT just aren't that good unless they are at least an inch or more thick.
Also, is there a good icing recipe for them. I know they aren't the best with icing but they look so pretty this way for gift giving purposes.

I went to my local AC Moore and was able to buy these pretty thick cookie cutters with plastic around the edges for grip. As for icing, I would melt down some really good chocolate and combine with a confectioners sugar until it is thick enough to spread and coat the tops of the treats. It will be delicious! Good Luck!

Try the metal cookie cutters that are open on the top and bottom- so you can cut all the way though the RKMT. For icing, I'm sure you could find a recipe on the internet. Hope this helps :-)

The old metal cookie cutters work great. Also
jell-o (jiggler) cutters work too. You just have to push down a little harder, but they work. For icing chocolate works, also homemade frosting (with real butter) is delicious.

i don't know about shapes, but, we use bisquit cutters. you know, they are taller and open ended without a handle, like a cookie cutter has.
good luck!!!
