You know people say it is but I used to work at a kosher restaurant and the people that came in didn't look any healthier, thinner, or even remotely different from people who eat non-kosher meat. They also say that kosher food/establishments are cleaner or whatever but if you went to the back at my old job it was probably dirtier than most places.

It's not that it's any healthier, that depends how its raised. Kosher is a life style. The Jewish believe that impurities are drained through the blood. They hang the animal over a pit to remove the head & fully drain the blood. So in other words it's a preparing step.

Yes it is a bit healthier but a lot pricier.
No pork is allowed being cooked near kashrut because pig is not kosher and one of the dirtiest animals that humans eat!

it's made under strict control and rules so it may be more sanitary than regular meat
