I realize that most of their food is healthier than American food, simply because of our preparation methods, but are there any foods that are high in fat or calories that I should stay away from?

hi, myself and my girlfriends are going on a picnic this weekend. it will be a hot summer day here in australia.we're getting fish adn chips for lunch and taking them to the park. im taking picnic rugs and a bingo set. any other ideas of what we can take or do on the picnic?thanks heaps!

I was doing some research about parasitic worms in fish. I bought some cod at a local store-a reputable one, and had planned on serving my husband a nice Valentines Day dinner. I was watching the fish to make sure it didn't get over cooked when I saw this thing MOVING!! I have read where people say they are harmless, but how can you go on to eat fish that had a worm in it?! Needless to say, dinner was ruined, and I am going back to the store tomorrow!

I dont mean feeding them salad, i mean like commercial vegan dog/cat food that is designed to be enough.

I wonder if it is ethical to force a vegan diet on a cat or dog?
I will not like answers from people who think a vegan diet is unhealthy for a person even because its been proven to be healthy if done right. But these animals are carnivores by nature, what do you think?
