I was doing some research about parasitic worms in fish. I bought some cod at a local store-a reputable one, and had planned on serving my husband a nice Valentines Day dinner. I was watching the fish to make sure it didn't get over cooked when I saw this thing MOVING!! I have read where people say they are harmless, but how can you go on to eat fish that had a worm in it?! Needless to say, dinner was ruined, and I am going back to the store tomorrow!

there are some worms that can be found in fish that can be dangerous (example: anisakis/anasakis-not sure on the spelling, but look that up if you want to be scared). If the fish is completely cooked you have nothing to worry about. But I personally would't eat fish with worms either.
