her level went from 287 to 260 and it is still considered high, she cant take the meds to lower it because of her kidney condition, why is this strict diet not working for her

1st,

My party will be of mixed company - co-workers, family, friends, current & ex bosses, black ,white, young old. How do I manage this???

2nd... I wanted to have a BBQ, but can't BBQ (ok, I could and done so before)and I don't own a grill- & don't want to buy 1 for 1x. A cousin told me not to have it catered, b/c it defeats the purpose (if I can go all out, no use in having a registry - skip the party and buy my own stuff - her words, not mine). So if it's not BBQ, would like red beans & rice, jambalaya, chicken wings, finger sandwiches, fruit trays, baked mac and cheexe, rum punch and some other booze do?

2nd - what type of entertainment? Music? Maybe I should save the hip hop for later - and just mix it, or mix old school, pop, and hip hop that's clean (I don't do shoot em up stuff - mostly party & old school). Do you play games- if so, like dominoes, spades, taboo,etc?
I need to rent tables and chairs, too... Oh dear... $300-400 is the budget... that's it.

The ones I have are barely soft, but still pretty firm. I was wondering if there was anyway to soften them up quicker, or if I can still make my guacamole with the ones I have.

I'm also a huge fan of Hot Cheetos, Slim Jims, Rum Raisin Ice Cream, Snow Caps, Salt & Vinegar Chip, and last but certainly not least Salt & Pepper chips.

I'm sitting at home right now really bummed out cause I'm broke. I am a HUGE football fan, so either way, I will be watching the game tonight. My question is should I stay home to avoid spending money, or should I go to the party where I know all my friends will be, and have a couple of beers? I know that if I sit home I'll just be soooooo depressed that I can't enjoy the game with all my pals, however, gas, and spending $ on beers isn't really in my budget. I'm a very very very social person, and my friends mean the world to me. Sitting on my couch with a bag of popcorn and a glass of water just isn't my style!! Please help!!!!!
