I'm sitting at home right now really bummed out cause I'm broke. I am a HUGE football fan, so either way, I will be watching the game tonight. My question is should I stay home to avoid spending money, or should I go to the party where I know all my friends will be, and have a couple of beers? I know that if I sit home I'll just be soooooo depressed that I can't enjoy the game with all my pals, however, gas, and spending $ on beers isn't really in my budget. I'm a very very very social person, and my friends mean the world to me. Sitting on my couch with a bag of popcorn and a glass of water just isn't my style!! Please help!!!!!

Go out. This is only one minor spending spree. Plus, you don't have to buy tons of beer. Alternate that with soda or water. Tell the bartender you're the designated driver, whether you are or not. Non-alcohol is usually free when you mention that. Skimp on some other stuff for the rest of the month if you have bills and rent for March. It's one day out! Enjoy!

I know what this is like. Always seems when you really wanna do something you are broke! Happens to the best of us. I would say maybe the friends could come to you? is this possible? They could bring a twelver over and cheer you up! My hubby is long gone with his pals and I will be alone with my son with popcorn and a beer so i feel your pain! Good luck and Go Bears!!!! lol

MAYBE ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS CAN GIVE YOU A RIDE TO HELP YOU SAVE ON GAS MONEY. YOU SHOULD NOT SIT HOME BY YOURSELF AND BE DEPRESSED. YOU WON'T ENJOY THE GAME OR MAYBE YOU CAN INVITE A RIEND OR NEIGHBOR OVER TO YOU HOUSE.
