I melt some butter and mix it with hot sauce. I coat the fried wings with garlic salt and then toss it all together.
OR
3 slices fresh ginger root
vegetable oil
4 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon dry sherry
1/2 teaspoon sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 cup water
Heat the ginger slices in the oil in a wok; add a third of the wings at a time and brown. When the wings are browned, drain the oil and remove the ginger slices from the wok. Add the oyster sauce, sherry, sugar soy sauce, and water. Place the browned wings in the wok and simmer, covered, for 10 to 12 minutes. Cook another 12 to 15 minutes with the lid off, basting frequently with the sauce. When the wings are tender and nicely glazed, they are ready to be eaten.
Serves 4.

The "basic" Buffalo-style wing sauce is made from 1/2 hot sauce, and 1/2 butter. I've seen recipes that say you can subtitute margarine for the butter, but why bother? You're already eating the fattiest part of the chicken!
Heat the hot sauce on the stovetop, add finely-minced onion, garlic, and hot peppers (to suit your taste). Allow all that stuff to simmer gently for a few minutes, then add the butter, and stir to melt it. Just remember, half and half.

The traditional Buffalo Style wings sauce is:
Half butter and half Red hot sauce (tabasco sauce), 1 teaspoon worchestershire sauce.
You can put other things into the sauce but that is the original Buffalo Wing Sauce

1 Bottle of Kraft red Russian dressing
Small bottle soy sauce
1 jar apricot jam
Mix together dressing & jam, then add soy sauce slowly and stop before it gets too watery. Spread on wings, bake wings in oven on 225 degrees for 2 1/2 -3 hours.
(You can cook it faster at a higher temp, but it's better slow.)
