I'm trying to see what else we can try besides jelly, honey and bananas. What do you use?

I have a friend that likes dark chocolate chips (pretty tasty, really). I like honey roasted peanuts broken up a little. Also good are Red Vines (the licorice). Sweet coconut is pretty tasty, raisins are good, very thinly sliced apples, cream cheese - SO good. Couple more ideas:
-Marshmallow cream
-Cinnamon and honey
-Thinly sliced celery and raisins (like eating ants on a log in a sandwich)
-Put a little spice in the peanut butter side (some cayenne, for example) and throw some grilled chicken on the other side, maybe with a little chutney or pineapple - Thai chicken sandwich
-Orange marmalade (spiced or not)
-Cherry jam (or just a bunch of cherries) and chocolate
-Bacon - it was good enough for Elvis (although weird sounding)

You can try peanut butter and marshmallow cream. It's so good. This sandwich is called a fluffernutter.

I used to put butter on it too when I was younger. I have heard that marshmallow fluff is also good. I think they call it a fluffernutter. Chocolate syrup might be good too.

I've not personally tried this but, my husband puts pepper jack cheese on it and swears it's good. I've also heard of people putting marshmallow fluff on their sandwiches and calling them fluffernutter sandwiches.

Raisins or dried tart cherries.

Grilled with banana like Elvis liked is also really good. You can dip these in egg and spices first and cook them like french toast...I'm getting hungry...
