It is definately, Italian-O!!! I Love, Love, Love, "Egg Plant Parmesan" and eggplant subsands!! With breaded, zuccini on the sub bread, but you smear fresh garlic cloves all over the bread first, dab a litttle EVOO, on both sides of the buns.....Place your breaded Italian (made with italian bread crumbs, egg/water/wash & flour/salt/pepper) and fry in EVOO & 2Tblsps butter (not margerine), drain on a paper towel plated plate, to obsorb, the grease.... and you could add mozerella cheese on the sub or anything you want on it.....But it is soooooo YUMMY, just with the EVOO, and garlic smear with the zuccini , that you wont need anything else to go with it!!! Good Luck and Italian food is Fabulous, isn't it!!!??? Smile!!!

Well, Take it from a pure Italian. Any thing that has Parmesan In It is mostly Italian. Also Eggplant is mostly Italian and eggplant also has sauce. So i hope that this help. :)
