Does anyone know how Hardees makes their buttermilk biscuits so nice and shapely? You know, they're all perfect cylinders with flat tops? You can't roll the dough out and cut it with a cookie cutter, because there isn't enough leavening to raise them, and they become flat and heavy. So if anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate it:) P.S. I'm not really looking for a recipe, unless it has some special leavener in it that normal recipes don't have.

My friend tells me that yeast is alive. Yeast is a creature and it produces gas which makes dough rise. Is this true?

What do you think is the better chocolate and why? I personally love Hersheys. It has a smother taste and it's just better.

I saw many items I was unfamiliar with, such as a bag of what looked like small, brownish, irregularly shaped sugar pebbles. My daughter thinks it was called "Kaita", but that may have been the brand, and it had two words. I also saw a bag of oval shaped white candy covered in sesame seeds. What are these and which foods have you tried that you liked from an Indian market?
